With more than fifteen years of experience in the industry, Brian focuses on providing innovative solutions to design and construction challenges that have an impact on fire protection and life safety. He collaborates closely with clients to develop prescriptive code compliance strategies and offers alternative performance-based solutions to complex compliance issues that meet the needs of all stakeholders. In working with clients and Authorities Having Jurisdiction, Brian strives to provide prompt communication and timely deliverables that advance both the client’s goals and occupant safety.

A responsive, solutions-driven consultant who is attentive to client and project needs, Brian takes pride in his ability to convey a wide range of technical information in logical and easy-to-understand ways. Aside from building and life safety code compliance, Brian’s interests and specialties include mass timber construction, smoke control systems, fire modeling, structural fire resistance, and façade flammability hazards. His work has focused on industrial, transportation, mixed-use commercial, assembly, and high-end residential project types.

I am an RYT200-certified yoga instructor.
