Code Red Consultants, LLC (“Code Red Consultants,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through coderedconsultants.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Code Red Consultants is a fire protection and life safety engineering firm providing code consulting, system design, inspection, testing, and commissioning services nationwide.

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Your state or location
• How you heard about us
• The services you are interested in
• Any message content you choose to include
• Your newsletter and insights subscription preferences

When you sign up for our newsletter or insights emails, we collect your name, email address, and any other fields the signup form requests.

If you contact us by phone, email, or fax, we collect whatever information you choose to share in that communication.

If you apply for a position with us, your application is handled through our third party recruiting platform, Paylocity, and is governed by Paylocity’s privacy practices in addition to ours.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Operating system and device type
• Referring website
• Pages viewed, time spent, and links clicked
• Date and time of your visit
• General geographic location derived from IP address

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The Site is not designed to collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, health information, or government identifiers. Please do not submit this type of information through our web forms. If you need to send us sensitive material as part of a project engagement, contact your Code Red Consultants project team directly for a secure method.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate team
• Provide, manage, and improve our consulting and engineering services
• Send you newsletters, insights, code updates, and industry news if you have subscribed
• Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Site
• Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements
• Evaluate employment applications

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information

Service providers. We use third party vendors to operate the Site and our business, including website hosting, form processing, email marketing, analytics, and recruiting. These vendors may access your information only to perform services for us and are obligated to protect it. Our current providers include Google Analytics, Paylocity, and Mailchimp.

Professional advisors. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, insurers, and similar advisors when necessary.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or a security incident.

Business transfers. If Code Red Consultants is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help websites function and help owners understand how their sites are used.

We use:

• Analytics cookies, which help us understand traffic patterns and improve content

Do Not Track. Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or insights emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us at info@coderedconsultants.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop transactional or project related communications, such as responses to your inquiry or messages from your project team about active work.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiry, maintain project records, meet professional and regulatory recordkeeping obligations, and comply with legal requirements.

Engineering and consulting project records are often retained for extended periods to satisfy professional standards, licensing requirements, insurance obligations, and potential claims periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. As a Massachusetts business, we maintain a written information security program consistent with 201 CMR 17.00.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and any information you transmit to us is done at your own risk.

9. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the following rights:

• Right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, where we got it, why we collect it, and who we share it with
• Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, geolocation data, and professional or employment related information. Sources, purposes, and disclosure recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, and 4.

Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to appeal a denial of a request. How to Submit a Request

Send your request to info@coderedconsultants.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days, and may extend that period where permitted. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the reason you believe the decision was incorrect.

10. Third Party Links

The Site contains links to third party websites, including our LinkedIn page and our careers portal. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at info@coderedconsultants.com and we will delete it.

12. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
