Code Red Consultants provided fire protection and life safety code consulting services for The Kendrick, a new residential complex at 275 2nd Avenue in Needham, Mass. Designed by architecture firm Cube 3 Studio, the complex includes 390 luxurious apartments on five floors, interior and exterior amenity spaces, and an adjacent five-story parking garage. In addition to code consulting services provided during design, Code Red Consultants obtained an accessibility variance for the project, prepared life safety/means of egress plans required for the permit, and assisted the design and construction team with alternative compliance methods during construction.
