Leadership Updates to Support CRC’s Continued Growth

Since its founding in 2013, Code Red Consultants has grown into a national fire protection and life safety consulting firm with four offices, more than 80 employees, and active projects across the United States. Throughout that growth, we have remained a collaborative, team-based organization focused on delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and our employees. 

As the firm has expanded, we have evolved our organizational structure to support the increasing scale and complexity of our work, while maintaining the partner-driven leadership model that has defined Code Red Consultants from the beginning. 

The firm’s four majority partners, Christopher Lynch, Nathan Birmingham, Carl Nelson, and Peter Harrod, will continue to lead the business through their complementary skill sets, now supported by a broader ownership group of 15 employee-owners. Leadership titles are adjusting as we expand our organizational structure to best serve our clients and employee’s needs:  

  • Christopher Lynch will serve as Chief Executive Officer. 
  • Carl Nelson, Nathan Birmingham, and Peter Harrod will serve as Executive Vice Presidents, remaining deeply involved in the firm’s leadership and strategic direction of all engineering services, business development, and technical operations. 
  • Nick Williams will continue to lead Business Operations as Chief Operating Officer, building on his instrumental role in the firm’s growth over the past six years. 
  • Paul Moan and Caitlin Gamache are stepping into expanded leadership roles within technical operations as Vice Presidents, reflecting their growing impact on the organization. 

These updates position Code Red Consultants for continued growth while reinforcing our long-standing commitment to collaboration, public safety, and technical excellence.
