AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cleveland Circle is a new five-floor, 162-room hotel in Boston’s Cleveland Circle neighborhood. Located at 395 Chestnut Hill Ave., the project was unique in that the building is located on the city line separating Boston and Brookline. Code Red Consultants worked directly with, and on behalf of, the Brookline Fire Department to review the construction document and shop drawing submittals provided by the owner’s design and construction team. The firm also performed detailed reviews of the submittal sets for the building, which contains the hotel and future retail areas.

Code Red Consultants worked with both the Boston and Brookline Fire Departments to conduct thorough reviews of the fire alarm and fire protection systems to achieve compliance with state and local codes as well as local official expectations on matters subject to their discretion. The City of Brookline was able to utilize the expertise of Code Red Consultants to review the system installation documentation and actual field installation during a time when the City was experiencing a substantial boom in construction.
