Code Red Consultants served as a third-party inspector of the fire protection and life safety systems for the 3.2 Million SF Encore Boston Harbor Resort. Code Red was responsible for performing firestopping special inspections in accordance with ASTM 2174 and ASTM 2393, smoke control special inspections, and assisted with NFPA 4 integrated fire protection and life safety testing throughout the building. The project included a 671-room hotel, gaming area, restaurant, retail, enclosed parking garage and convention center. To meet the schedule and project scale needs, Code Red Consultants utilized a team and maintained a near daily presence on site for the final 18 months of the project. In our role as special inspector, we collaborated with the Wynn Design and Development, Suffolk Construction, and the City of Everett Fire and Building Departments to deliver the inspection and testing services on schedule.
