Sean Herman is a Life Safety Consultant with Code Red Consultants and has seven years of experience in the Fire Protection and Life Safety Consulting industry. His project work and management experience has spanned across the country from California to Massachusetts, working on a variety of project types and market sectors; most notably, primary education, higher education, high-rise office and residential buildings, and mixed-use buildings.

Sean is a strong team player and collaborator who is proactive with communication and project coordination. He enjoys taking on complex issues experienced during the design and construction process to develop safe and cost-effective solutions while maintaining the clients/ design team’s vision. Sean’s expertise includes building and fire code consulting, fire protection systems design and consulting, negotiation with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and utilizing CAD/BIM programs to develop and deliver a successful and efficient project.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

I am always up for an adventure. Her background in Civil Engineering and construction provides a unique perspective on the design process and how these plans come to life on site. Maddie focuses her consulting efforts mostly in the residential, academic, office, and assembly markets, including accessibility code analysis. As a young consultant, Maddie is very excited to be provided with numerous learning opportunities as well as colleges she can look up to as she progresses in her career. Maddie is currently working towards completing her Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

Growing up, I was a bit of a “band geek”. From the time I was in fourth grade up until graduating college, I played several instruments including the bass clarinet, tenor saxophone, and piano. In high school, I participated in competitive marching band where I was able to march down Main Street U.S.A. in Disney World, perform at MetLife Stadium, and earn two state championship titles.

He is no stranger to hard work! Completing two summer internships with Code Red and another with a residential construction firm, Jake joined fulltime with an understanding of how to be successful. Jake enjoys working with others to solve unique problems in the field and in the office and is excited for the growth he will achieve while working at Code Red Consultants.
