Karl joins Code Red Consultants as a full-time Life Safety Consultant with a background in Mechanical Engineering, while pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. He finds great value in collaborating with co-workers on projects and learning from their experiences. Working primarily on science and technology, as well as on the residential team, he is interested in the design of unique lab and residential buildings. He enjoys working on exciting and challenging projects that may not always have a straightforward solution but provide people with a safe and accessible environment. As a new hire, he makes an effort to ask questions to further his learning in the growing and evolving Fire Protection industry.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is how much everyone around me makes an effort to collaborate on projects to come up with solutions to problems. Working together with my coworkers has provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow into my role and develop my career.

Ethan is excited to join Code Red Consultants as a full-time employee after two consecutive summer internships with the company. Hailing from Milford, CT, Ethan graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and returned the following year to obtain a Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering. Now, Ethan joins CRC as a hardworking, passionate Life Safety Consultant who enjoys the challenge of solving unique problems in the built environment. As a new employee, Ethan hopes to gain exposure to a wide variety of industry sectors and continue to enhance his technical expertise while also strengthening his communication skills with colleagues and clients.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

Something that colleagues/ clients might not know about me is that I wrestled for 16 years, from first grade all the way through college. Wrestling taught me valuable life skills such as leadership, discipline, and attention to detail, which I have found extremely useful in my studies and now in my career.

Justin joins Code Red Consultants as a Life Safety Consultant with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. After previously interning with the firm, he is excited to return and officially begin his career with the team. Justin will primarily support projects in the residential, academic, office, and assembly markets, with a strong interest in expanding his technical knowledge and learning from colleagues across disciplines to better serve client needs.

What do you love most about your job?

What I enjoy most about the job is seeing the real-world impact of our work – helping people bring their projects to life is incredibly rewarding. I also really value the opportunity to learn from other consultants, each bringing their own unique experiences and perspectives.

With an academic background in Civil Engineering, Taylor brings a strong understanding of the construction process from the ground up. She joined Code Red Consultants full-time after completing a successful internship and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering. Her technical foundation and on-site experience make her a valuable asset to the field team, where she actively supports projects involving NFPA 241 compliance and NFPA 4/ITCx commissioning.

She enjoys being immersed in the field side of the business, connecting directly with clients, contractors, and project teams to solve challenges in real time. Her passion lies in understanding how buildings are constructed and ensuring life safety systems are seamlessly integrated throughout each phase. By combining her civil engineering background with hands-on field work and growing fire protection expertise, she plays a key role in delivering Code Red’s high safety and service standards on every project.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

I grew up riding horses, which was a huge part of my childhood. My family always had a lot of animals, and even at one point, we had mini donkeys!

Emmanuel (Manny) is a Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultant who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. He works primarily in the residential and science and technology sectors, contributing to various stages of the building and development process. With a strong focus on smoke control and pressurization systems, Manny brings a solid understanding of relevant codes and standards to each project. He enjoys tackling both routine and complex challenges, always aiming to deliver the most effective solutions tailored to his clients’ needs. Having completed his Master of Science in Fire Engineering, Manny remains committed to continuous learning, particularly in advancing his knowledge of performance-based design.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is that no two projects are ever the same. Each project presents a unique set of challenges that requires tailored solutions.

Eric is a fire protection and life safety code consultant with an academic background in mechanical engineering and hands-on fire service experience. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Fire Protection Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. At Code Red Consultants, Eric contributes to a wide range of projects by supporting the design and review of fire protection and fire alarm systems, conducting third-party reviews, and providing comprehensive life safety code consulting across various project types.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is collaborating closely with fire departments to help ensure buildings are safe and code-compliant, all while supporting their mission to protect the communities they serve. It’s rewarding to be part of a process that directly contributes to public safety.

Kirsten joins Code Red Consultants as a Life Safety Consultant with a background in Industrial Engineering. She thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment with teammates working towards a common goal. She has experience in construction project management and manufacturing operations, providing an open mind. As a new hire, she is eager to continue to learn the industry, grow professionally, and make an impact through value-added work.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is the ability to work with an enthusiastic team who share the same passion for the life safety and fire protection industry. The most rewarding part of my job is to know the work we do as Code Consultants directly impact the safety of occupants of the projects we work on, and I enjoy the ability to continue to learn on a daily basis!

Terrence joins Code Red Consultants with a background in Mechanical Engineering. He’s enthusiastic and prepared to rejoin the team full-time following his previous two internships with Code Red Consultants. Terrence excels in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to continue providing a safe environment for the public and construction workers. He enjoys working in the rapidly changing fire protection industry and is actively pursuing a master of science degree in fire protection engineering.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is looking back at a project that I have contributed to, knowing that my role helped create a safe environment for future occupants.

Jordan Greene-Williams possesses ten years of experience in Code Compliance and Enforcement with the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services. His expertise primarily lies in on-site field work, conducting investigations ranging from routine life safety inspections to complex investigations following fatal fires. Throughout his career, Greene-Williams dedicated significant effort to cultivating strong relationships with the local Fire Departments he represented in the South Shore and Cape Cod regions. This commitment to community service aligns with his family background, as his mother is a registered nurse and his father is a retired Springfield Firefighter. Serving the community has been a consistent value instilled within him.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

I played football for over ten years from fourth grade to college and never suffered a significant injury or broken bone.  

Samuel Dickens joins Code Red Consultants with a background in civil engineering. As a Life Safety Consultant with a passion for collaborative problem-solving, he leverages numerous opportunities to expand his expertise through hands-on experience and the ongoing pursuit of a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering. Samuel thrives on devising solutions to intricate problems and takes pride in his ability to swiftly tackle new challenges. His primary focus is on healthcare facilities, where he provides code consulting and conducts onsite inspections.

What is something that colleagues and clients might not know about you?

I love the outdoors, I have played soccer since I was 4, have backpacked over 300 miles, and was part of WPI’s Men’s Crew team.
