As an NCAA Division 1 hockey team, UMass has built a program that has made them a perennial contender in the Hockey East Conference and winners of the Frozen Four national tournament in 2021. Code Red Consultants is proud to have served as the Code Consultant for a renovation project that resulted in a new locker room designed to unite and inspire the team — and its top recruits. Code Red Consultants worked with Jones Architecture to re-imagine a 4,000 sf space within the Mullins Center to provide locker, shower, and amenity facilities for the team, with consideration for fire protection, life safety, and accessibility compliance.
