The Overlook at St. Gabriel’s
The Overlook at St. Gabriel’s offers luxury apartment living on a historic property in Brighton, MA. This first phase of occupancy included both a new 6-story residential apartment building along with the conversion of the existing St. Gabriel’s Monastery and Church Buildings. The latter two historic buildings now serve as new residential apartments and amenities spaces.
Code Red Consultants teamed with CUBE 3 Studio for the design of the new 6-story residential apartment building featuring 5-stories of wood framed construction above a podium consisting of more than 500,000 SF. Additionally, Code Red Consultants was engaged for NFPA 241 compliance and phased occupancy services associated with both the new construction and renovation projects within the development. The firm worked with Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Consigli Construction, and John Moriarty & Associates to verify that compliance with NFPA 241 was maintained as the associated construction operations and hazards changed, as well to develop a successful partial occupancy plan approved by the city.
