Code Red Consultants supported the renovation of Elevate Apartments, a multifamily building located at 1 Leighton Street in Cambridge, MA. The project aimed to enhance resident amenities through updates to the first and second floors, which included the addition of a new fitness center, bike storage, an upgraded lobby and lounge area, and modernized leasing offices. Renovations also extended to the rooftop, where a new terrace and sky lounge were created to provide vibrant, communal spaces for residents.

Our team provided comprehensive code consulting services, working closely with the architectural team to navigate the applicable building and fire code requirements. In addition, our field team developed the NFPA 241 Construction Fire Safety Plan to support safe and compliant project execution throughout the renovation.
We were proud to collaborate with Arrowstreet as the project architect and Timberline Construction as the general contractor on this effort to reimagine and elevate the building’s shared spaces.
